WIP, a bit frantic

It's almost the end of the month! I'm buzzing with bee blocks.

I'm hosting one of my bees next month, so I made my practice block. Not sure, I like it as much as I did originally, but I want to get my packages out tomorrow. Eek! So my real WIP is cutting all the fabric up!

One down, one to go. This paper pieced block for another bee member wasn't too bad, although my middle triangle points got cut off a bit. Thankfully the host said not perfect was ok. The other block shall be finished tonight!!

I also finished this block earlier in the week, I love the mod basics fabric. Might have to get some.

Also finished.....my New York Beauty for the Modern She Made Swap! I love it! I put triangle "hangers" on the back and bought a wire wall holder. That is going in the mail tomorrow too. Very excited, hope my partner likes it.

I can't even think straight now about what else is on deck. Hopefully I'll have another host tomorrow!

Linking up.

  1. You got a lot done, Rebecca! How was it putting together the plus block? I've been considering it, but it seems like a lot of pieces.

    1. It is a lot of pieces but the sewing went quickly. I didn't press each piece, I pressed the whole row at once and sewed each row together right away.

  2. You have gotten a lot completed with two young children. I was never that put together when mine were young. I have a New York Beauty Pattern printed out, but haven't quite got to it yet. I am your newest follower and would love it if you checked out my blog.
